My Story…
Dason was taken from us far too soon. He loved pushing himself, exploring, experiencing new things, and living life with a sense of curiosity and excitement. He had so much life ahead of him and a future filled with possibilities.
But mental illness entered his life and changed everything.
What many people didn’t see was just how hard Dason fought. He fought to understand what was happening to him. He fought to overcome the battle taking place inside him. And through it all, we never stopped believing in the person he was and the life he deserved to have.
Our hope is to continue honoring Dason’s life and help bring greater awareness to mental health, while reminding others that mental illness can affect anyone—and that the fight is real.
Dason deserved more time. More adventures. More challenges to conquer. More life.

The mission of Thumbs Up is to raise awareness for mental health and provide support and resources to all. Will you help me raise funds for the vital programming and services Thumbs Up brings to the community? All donations go directly to supporting the programs within the organization.
